Yes, you can continue using your current transducers until the replacement arrives. The SWAP service is designed to minimize downtime by ensuring that you receive a newly calibrated transducer before returning your old one. However, if the current transducer is out of calibration, accuracy may be affected.
No, we do not calibrate fitting units. Our fitting units are manufactured with precise specifications and stable electronic components that do not require calibration. The units undergo rigorous testing during production to ensure they meet our strict output tolerances. Instead, we only calibrate the transducers, which store their calibration data in the transducer plug. This approach allows for our efficient SWAP program and enables transducers to be used interchangeably between Auditdata fitting units.
We offer refurbished transducers that undergo rigorous quality control testing to ensure they meet the same standards as new ones. They are thoroughly tested, calibrated, and verified to be working correctly before being sent out for use.
Each SWAP transducer undergoes quality control under ISO 13485 medical standards. Each transducer is individually calibrated with calibration data stored in the transducer plug. The calibration process follows IEC and ANSI standards, with specific tolerances (±3.0 dB for 125 Hz – 4 kHz range, ±5.0 dB for higher frequencies) and includes additional safety margins. All calibration equipment is annually certified by an ISO17025-compliant laboratory.
By default, payment for the SWAP service is made via bank transfer. For additional payment options, such as debit or credit card payments, please contact accountsreceivableDK@auditdata.com
