    – When your transducer is out of calibration, contact Auditdata to initiate a SWAP request.
  2. Receive a Newly Calibrated Transducer
    – We will ship a replacement transducer within five business days after confirming your shipping details.
  1. Replace & Return
    – Once you receive the new transducer, replace your old one and return it to us using the provided packaging and return label.
    – The old transducer must be returned within 30 business days to avoid additional charges.

  2. What You Get

  3. A fast and hassle-free transducer replacement process

  4. About Auditdata Calibration

  5. Auditdata is fully committed to providing the best care experience for people with hearing loss. One part of this commitment is related to ensuring that our equipment produces reliable, consistent, and high-quality clinical results. This is achieved not only by designing hardware and software that optimizes clinical work but also focusing on optimizing and simplifying necessary workflows such as calibration. In addition, all Auditdata medical products have been designed and manufactured under the ISO 13485 medical standard audited by TÜV. To read more about Auditdata’s compliance, visit this link.

  6. A smarter way of calibrating

  7. The SWAP calibration workflow described above differs from the traditional method of calibrating audiometric transducers. Since transducer calibration is central and crucial from a clinical point of view, it is imperative that it is done correctly to optimize clinical outcomes.
  8. The way Auditdata approaches calibration of transducers provides great advantages for the end user. Instead of considering the fitting unit and the transducers as one system and calibrating them as such, the fitting unit is designed according to precise specifications and manufactured using tight-tolerance components. This ensures that the fitting unit's output remains stable over time regarding output levels, requiring only the transducer to be calibrated. During transducer calibration, the calibration data is stored in the transducer plug, which is then read by the fitting unit when the transducer is connected.
This approach allows for a transducer swapping scheme, where only the transducer is calibrated, and replacement transducers can be sent to a customer before the out-of-calibration transducer is returned for calibration. This saves time and resources for the clinic by eliminating any downtime during calibration.
  9. Additionally, an Auditdata transducer can be used on any Auditdata fitting unit. This opens the possibility of moving transducers between the fitting units in a clinic if needed, for example, if a transducer breaks or is lost. This, in turn, reduces or even eliminates downtime. Again, this is in line with Auditdata’s focus on providing the best care experience to people with hearing loss.
