HOW TO SET UP THE DYMO LABEL PRINTER (see the online Aurora Help Manual)

Dymo Label Writer  - Code: 87261440 Manufacturer Code: LW450

To set up the DYMO LABEL PRINTER, install the Dymo printer driver on each machine that will be using the DYMO LABEL PRINTER.

Next...

First ensure that you have received from Aurora, the latest Label.exe program. Unzip (if required) the Label.exe program. Access the LABEL SETUP folder and launch the SETUP.EXE application as shown below. Running SETUP.EXE will create the Label Printer Setup program.

Select to RUN the program.

Next, the program shortcut will be available on the desktop

Double click on the shortcut and from the drop-down list, select the DYMO printer, and click ACCEPT. Next, go into Aurora>Patient Information>Print> Print Patient Labels to print a label.

Note: Depending on your operating system, you may be asked to associate a program to this type of label file. If you are asked to confirm the file association, drill down to select the newly installed LABEL PRINTER program (within the "C:\Program Filesx86" folder) and click the option to remember this association on other similar type files.

The minimum size labels you need for your personal label printer are 29mm x 89mm.

Printing labels from the Patient Inquiry will not print a personal label printer. Those are meant to print to a laser printer as batch labels. The type of labels you need is sheet labels, Avery 5160.

There should be three labels across and ten down (30 per sheet). This is why you are seeing a PDF paper.
