Adding a New Location – Instructions

For example: “Hobart” is the name of the new Location

  1.  Add Hobart in as a location in Config>System>Location. Consult the Help manual or compare the information in existing locations. Don’t forget to upload your logo in the search window on the Location Name.
  2. Don’t forget to change the site ID if applicable, or bank account.

  1.            In Config>System>Application Users check that Hobart is included in the list of allowed locations for your users. Do you need to set the default location to the new location for any user? You may like to use the Select feature rather than allow access to all locations:

  1.   Also, in Config>System>application User open the Scheduler parameter and set their default Loc and allowed Locations as well.

  1. If using Rosters, also review Rosters for the Scheduler to see if there is a need to add Rosters for those people so you can make appointments for them.

  1.  If not using a roster, go to Config>Schedule>Specialists and in the search window on the Location column add the new location.

  1.     In Scheduler>Scheduler Parameters, double click the Location on the right to set the opening hours.

  1.   If you require your clients to be moved from one location to another, email the request to Support@auditdata, in the subject say “Move Patients from XXX to Loc YYY on DD/MM/YYYY. Allow a week’s notice.
  1.   Run the Reports>Sales>Quote Report and be sure to move them all to the new location.
  1.   Don’t forget to move any appointments to the new location before making the old location inactive – run the Appointment Booking Report for the old Location. If there are hundreds let us know, we can assist with this too.
  1.  If there are pending claims, finalise them in the original location.
  1. If this location has a separate bank account, set it up in Config>Accounting>Navision Settings.
