No sound from Speech CD

CD and Media Files Folders settings are used to add folders with external sound files to be used in the Speech Mapping and Speech Audiometry modules. Customers can use external sound files that are not provided by the system.

Note: Special calibration is required for these sound files!

To add a CD Media Folder:

  1. Open Primus, go to Tools > Settings > CD and Media Files Folders

  1. Click Add button to add a new folder with your own sound files (wav, oggwma)

  1. The Custom Media files Folder window will be opened. Specify the Name of the external folder, select the Folder Path where the external folder is located and select the CD Scheme that corresponds to the added sound files

  1. Click the Calibrate button

  1. Select the calibration track or sound to calibrate your sound files and adjust the offset accordingly

  1. Calibrate the selected files and click Save button and then OK to save again

The calibration of recently calibrated file will be used for all external sound files in the Speech Mapping and Speech Audiometry modules.

Only one calibration value is available and used for all external sound files and will be applied to all transducers

Speech CD files must be stored locally or on the network PC, where the Primus application can access them
