Patient letters


On the PATIENT LETTER TEMPLATES tab, you can manually create or import PDF letter templates that can then be used to generate letters for specific patients. These letter templates (forms) can contain dynamic fields that can be completed with patient-related information.

Add a letter template

  1. Click +TEMPLATE
  2. Specify the name, document category and document type. Document categories and document types are configured in DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT.
  3. Use the toolbar to style the letter. Access more tools via .
  4. To add dynamic fields that will be automatically completed with information from the PATIENT profile, use the INSERT FIELDS dropdown.



  5. Review your letter.
  6. SAVE.
Importing PDF: This option allows users to import letters (forms) that are ready for use. These can either be non-editable PDF documents or fillable PDF forms. Non-editable documents can only be printed by specialists while PDF forms can be dynamically filled with information about the patient.

Import a letter template

  1. Click IMPORT PDF.
  2. Specify the name, document category and document type. Document categories and document types are configured in DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT.
  3. Choose a file to import.
  4. Click IMPORT. Imported PDF letters are non-editable by default. When you click the EDITABLE toggle switch, the IMPORT PDF dialog opens where you can change the description of your letter or attach another file.
  5. Once the letter (form) is successfully imported, it can be used or reviewed by specialists in the PATIENT module.

Disable/delete a letter template

  1. To temporarily disable the letter template  (or form), use the ACTIVE toggle and set the switch to INACTIVE. When the letter (form) is inactive, it is not accessible to specialists in the PATIENT module.
  2. To permanently remove the letter template (form), hover over the respective field, click and choose DELETE.
