1. WHAT'S NEW
Role-Based Control for NHAX Export
The settings in Bridge and permissions in Manage have been refined to offer more detailed control over NHAX Export capabilities within Bridge. Administrators now have the ability to designate specific roles and permissions to users, dictating who can access and use the NHAX Export feature. This role-based access control boosts security by blocking unauthorized data exports and ensures adherence to organizational policies. By customizing NHAX Export access according to specific roles, organizations can optimize workflows and uphold data integrity, guaranteeing that sensitive patient information is managed correctly.
Manage Permission for NHAX Export
Administrators can now manage the visibility of the 'Export to NHAX' feature in Bridge by using the newly introduced permission, ExportPatientNoahDataInBridge, within Manage. This permission can be assigned to or removed from specific roles, allowing for precise control over which users can access the 'Export to NHAX' functionality.
Offline Mode (with Internet Connection)
Bridge can now be started in Offline mode directly from the WINDOWS START MENU, even if there is an active internet connection. This feature allows working in an offline environment without the need to disconnect from the internet, providing greater flexibility and convenience. Whether you are in a location with intermittent internet access or simply opt to work offline, this mode ensures that you can continue using Bridge seamlessly.
Prepare-For-Offline Mode
Bridge can be launched in Prepare-for-Offline mode, allowing users to load historical patient data and work offline with or without an internet connection. Users can also create and store new patient records directly in Offline Mode. This feature is particularly beneficial for healthcare professionals in remote or offline environments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records that can be synchronized with the online database once an internet connection is available. This flexibility enhances the system's usability and reliability, making it easier to manage patient information in various conditions.
Bridge's Prepare-For-Offline mode offers:
- Seamless Workflow: Work smoothly in limited internet areas or offline.
- Capacity: Download up to 250 patients' historical data or manually create and store up to 250 patients in Offline Mode.
- Accessibility: Both types of patients (loaded in Bridge automatically and created manually) are available on the CLIENTS tab in Offline Mode.
For patients prepared for offline use:
- Demographics data is available in read-only mode.
- Actions cannot be deleted manually in offline mode.
Revamped Patient Synchronization
Users can now efficiently manage patient data with our enhanced synchronization feature, designed to streamline both individual and bulk synchronization processes. This feature ensures that patient information is up-to-date and accurately reflected across your system.
HOW IT WORKS
To ensure efficient synchronization, the following methods can be employed:
- Manual Synchronization: Patients can be synchronized individually using the synchronization icon.

- Bulk Synchronization: Multiple patients can be selected using checkboxes and synchronized simultaneously using the "Synchronize all" option.

When coordinating synchronization, it is important to note the following aspects:
- Client Synchronization Count: The total number of clients and the number selected for synchronization are displayed online.
- Error Indication: Clients with missing or invalid data are highlighted in grey with an additional hint before synchronization.

- User Input Required Alert: Clients that cannot be synchronized automatically due to issues such as conflicting demographic data will be marked with a 'Requires User Input' message following the synchronization attempt.

Patient Search and Sorting
The Patient Search and Sorting feature provides robust search and sorting capabilities, ensuring quick access to patient records and enhancing workflow efficiency. This feature allows users to quickly locate patient records using various search fields, enables sorting of patient data based on different criteria.
HOW IT WORKS
OFFLINE: When at least one offline patient is present, the search field and sorting options appear on the CLIENTS tab.
Available search fields are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Patient ID
- Location ID
Available sorting options are:
- All (A-Z)
- Created First (A-Z)
ONLINE: Search and sorting are available by default for online patients.
Available search fields are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Patient ID
- Location ID
Available sorting options are:
- All (A-Z)
- Missing Data First (A-Z)

2.IMPROVEMENTS
Location ID instead of SSN

Key benefits:
- Improved Privacy: Location IDs offer a more secure alternative, reducing the risk of identity theft.
- Enhanced Customization: Users have the option to tailor their settings according to their preferences, ensuring a more personalized experience.
- Optimized Data Management: Users can select either SSN or Location ID for display in Bridge, streamlining patient information access.
Upon launch, Bridge's CLIENT VIEW will display either the Location ID or the client's Social Security Number (SSN) next to other patient identifiable information, depending on your Bridge configuration.

SQL CE Transition to SQLite
The local database SQL CE has been replaced with SQLite to enhance performance and reliability. SQLite is a lightweight, high-performance database engine that offers several advantages over SQL CE, including faster data processing, improved stability, and better support for modern applications. This change ensures that Bridge operates more efficiently, providing a smoother and more responsive user experience. Additionally, SQLite's robust architecture reduces the risk of data corruption and enhances overall system reliability, making it a superior choice for managing local databases.
Miscellaneous UI Enhancements
Several UI enhancements in Offline Mode have been made to improve the overall user experience.
These include:
Redesigned "Create/Edit Client" dialog in Offline Mode.
Color indication for newly created clients in Offline Mode.

Enhanced visual icons in all modes.
