The customers can share their Primus settings from network with other PCs. To share the settings with other users, you need to create a Primus Settings Profile under the following name: NETWORK PROFILE.
As most clients use Primus under NOAH, in this case they need to temporarily disable NOAH before creating/updating the NETWORK PROFILE with custom Primus settings.
To temporarily disable NOAH in Primus:
Go to Tools > Settings > Common and deselect the Enable transparent Noah mode option.
Click Save and restart Primus.
Primus will start in standalone mode and you will see all existing Primus Settings Profiles.
NOTE: Do not forget to enable NOAH after you are done with the settings customization.
If NETWORK PROFILE exists – select it and proceed to the customization.
If the NETWORK PROFILE has not been yet created - select Create New Profile and register a new profile with the name NETWORK PROFILE;
NOTE: You can always access all Primus Settings Profiles by going to Setting Profiles from the Tools menu.
With NETWORK PROFILE selected as Primus Settings Profile, go to Tools > Settings and customize all the settings that you want to be shared over network, and then click Save;
Go to Tools > Setting Profiles, select NETWORK PROFILE and click Export Settings. Select what settings you want to export (User Settings, Workstation Settings, System Settings) and export the file with all the setup to your local machine. It will create a single XML file.
Go to Tools > Settings > General > Network, click Update settings from network and specify the path to the file with settings.
Click Save to apply the changes.
All users in your network need to specify the path to this NETWORK PROFILE xml file.
Every time the users start their Primus, their application will take settings from this shared profile.
