Uninstalling the Generic Bluetooth Adapter (Win 8)
1. To uninstall
the generic Bluetooth driver:
a. Click on
the Windows’ Start Menu button on the Windows’ task bar:
b. Select
the Control Panel.
c. Click on
the Device Manager:
d. Click on
the Expand button next to Bluetooth to reveal the list of Bluetooth drivers
(this example shows that there is a problem with the Generic Bluetooth radio):
e. Right-click
on the Generic Bluetooth Radio and select “Uninstall”:
f. Click on
the OK button, when prompted.
g. The generic
Bluetooth driver is removed.
h. Close the
Device Manager
i. See the
Quick Start Guide to re-install the Bluetooth adapter.
