Welcome to the most recent update of our software - Manage 10.2.0! This latest version is brimming with new features that will simplify your workflow and enhance overall functionality. We have also implemented several enhancements to environment settings, inventory management, reports, and integrations to elevate user experience. 

1. What's new

HSP rules [AU]

Several new HSP rules have been added to enhance the management of HSP claims. Depending on how the invoice creation rules are set up, a warning or reminder will appear if the conditions of a rule are not met before an invoice is created. General rules will always be applied. 

The new rules enable users to:
  1. Automatically update the customer signed date and authorized person signed date to match the claim date.
  2. Automatically exclude any claims with future service dates from being included in export lists.
  3. Control the addition of maintenance fees for non-DVA clients.
  4. Ensure maintenance agreements and quotes are signed.
  5. Verify the consistency of dates for appointments, devices, and services.
  6. Check if the claims and appointment dates are consistent.
  7. Make sure follow-up appointments are scheduled  properly, with the follow-up date being at least 7 days after the service date.
Claims [AU]
  1. The HSP Claim Status Column has been added to the Patient Sales page, enhancing visibility and management of HSP claims by allowing efficient tracking of their status
Patient sale
  1. We have introduced the ability to backdate the warranty start date when creating a delivery note. This is particularly useful if the delivery note is created after the invoice date, ensuring that the warranty period aligns correctly with the sale date. The system ensures that the selected start date cannot be earlier than the invoice creation date.
Workflows
  1. The invoice workflow step (i.e., invoice that is created as part of the workflow) is now automatically marked as completed once an invoice is added. This change helps users easily track the completion of invoicing tasks.

2. Improvements

  1. Environment settings: Scheduler settings have been upgraded to allow users to configure and apply schedule templates to individual specialists or entire groups. This simplifies the process of managing schedules, making it easier to ensure that all specialists are aligned with the desired timetable.
  2. Inventory: The Stock Management page has been enhanced with a new ‘Select all locations’ filter that enables users to quickly check the inventory availability across all locations.
  3. Inventory: The Patient Item Reservation feature is now available globally, allowing users to reserve items specifically for a patient within their order. These reserved items will be marked with the status 'Reserved by order' in Stock Management, ensuring that they are only available for the intended patient.
  4. Reports: The Locations filter has been removed from the Patients and Leads Information report. This change allows the report to display patients who do not have an assigned location or appointment.
  5. Integrations: The triggers for sending SMS messages through Twilio have been updated. These changes aim to improve the timing and relevance of the messages, ensuring that users receive them in a more timely and contextually appropriate manner.

3. Issues solved

  1. Patients: The problem regarding the display of inaccurate statuses for document activity on the History tab has been resolved.
  2. Patients: New sales entries are now displayed in the HI Deliveries section within the Patient Summary tab, making it easier to track and review recent transactions.
  1. Patient sale: The issue with the Credit Note button staying active after the sale was credited has been fixed.
  2. Patient sale: HSP Device quotes now display both the total discounts and the total cost amount excluding discounts.
  3. Patient sale: URL no longer appears when changing HSP Details from DRAFT to 'Ready to Send' in the Patient Sale workflow.
  4. Patient sale: When a sale is created, the claim, posting, and signed dates are now automatically pre-filled with the appointment date.
  5. Patient sale: Invoices assigned to a third-party payer now correctly display as fully paid on printouts, without showing any outstanding amounts.
  6. Patient sale: The screen remains in place when a user changes the HSP claim status, and invoices now stay expanded instead of being minimized.
  7. Patient sale: The HSP Tax Invoice and Claim documents have been redesigned to guarantee the accuracy of printed information, addressing all prior display and layout issues.
  1. Finance: The ‘Rows Per Page’ filter is now functioning correctly on the Battery and Maintenance Claims tab.
  2. Finance: The claim date shown on the Claims page for ready-to-send claims now aligns with the date from the Patient Sale, eliminating any discrepancies in claim processing.
