Second channel can be heard when stimulus Speech (echo issue)

Synopses:
1. Start Speech CD (headphones or free field) in stepped mode. When the 1st word stops, the whole list starts playing continuously.
2. Double words (echo) when playing speech.
3. Noise can be heard in the same ear even if the opposite is selected.

This issue is related to 3rd party audio software from the computer manufacturer or Windows sound settings.
Most commonly it is Waves MaxxAudio utility (if you need to delete its audio driver, check this article):

It creates the surrounding effect which causes left channel to be mixed with the right channel.
All effects need to be disabled in this Utility. PC reboot is recommended.

Another possible reason is audio enhancement on the audio devices of Windows.
"Disable all effects" should be ticked for all connected audio output devices (internal speakers, Primus, headphones).
Windows 10 and Windows 11 may differ in this section but the general functionality is the same.

Also channels mixing is possible if "Mono Audio" setting is enabled in Windows sound settings.
When option is enabled, it overrides Primus masking settings and plays both channels simultaneously (sound and masking sound).
Make sure that this "Mono Audio" option is disabled in Windows sound settings.
