Bridge Prepare for Offline

Bridge Prepare for Offline

The Export to Bridge (Offline) functionality helps clinics maintain continuity of care when internet access is unavailable — such as during home visits by audiologists or in low-connectivity environments — by enabling secure offline access to patient data through the Bridge application.

There are two export workflows available:

  1. Initiated from the PATIENTS module
  2. Initiated from the SCHEDULER module

Using this integration, clinic administrators and specialists can export selected patient profiles from Auditdata Manage to Bridge for offline use. Once connectivity is restored, the data can be synchronized back to Manage, either individually or in bulk, ensuring patient records remain complete and up to date.

1. Required Permissions

Access is granted through specific permissions configured in Auditdata Manage. Administrators must assign these permissions to the appropriate user roles to ensure that only authorized users can access the export interface, perform offline exports, and initiate synchronizations.

The following Manage permissions are required:
  1. PreparePatientBridgeOffline - Grants access to the Prepare for Bridge (Offline) functionality in Manage
  2. ViewAuditTrails - Grants access to the History Log for export transactions in Manage

 2. Workflows Overview

Export from the Patients module

  1. Open Prepare for Bridge (Offline)
    1. Log in to Auditdata Manage and navigate to the PATIENTS module
    2. On opening the Patient search screen, click  and then Prepare for Bridge (Offline).

  2. Manage the export list
On the Prepare for Bridge (offline) page, you can:
    1. Use the search bar to find patients
    2. Select the patients for offline export by marking the checkboxes next to their names
    3. Review the list
    4. Unselect entries by clearing the respective checkboxes at the bottom of the page
    5. Collapse or expand the list via the corresponding controls () separating the top PATIENTS list from the bottom SELECTED PATIENTS FOR BRIDGE EXPORT list

  3. Export to Bridge Offline
Click the Open in Bridge button to load patient data into the offline Bridge application.

  4. Review Loaded Records in Bridge
Once the data is loaded, the system displays the list of patients exported to Bridge. You can:
    1. Review the list
    2. Remove patients from the list as needed
    3. Work with patient entries

  5. Synchronize Back to Manage
When Bridge is opened in online mode:
    1. The system prompts the user to start synchronization if offline data is available.
    2. Users can sync individual patient records or perform bulk synchronization.

  6. Audit History Log
From the Audit trails > Bridge offline export log, you can:
    1. Review all patient export transactions to Bridge offline.
    2. View details such as date/time, username, and number of patients exported.
    3. Open individual transaction records to see which patients were included.

NOTE: Unsuccessful export attempts are still logged in the History Log.

Export from the Scheduler Module

You can also Prepare patients for Bridge offline from Scheduler. Users with the PreparePatientBridgeOffline permission will see the "Prepare patients for Bridge (offline)" button available across all Scheduler views.

When clicking the button:
  1. The system automatically extracts the patients currently displayed in the Scheduler.
  2. It redirects the user to the Prepare for Bridge (Offline) page.
  3. The extracted patients are pre-populated into the Selected patients list, streamlining the workflow and reducing manual effort.
