Dashboard settings

REQUIRED PERMISSIONS

Access to Dashboard Settings is controlled by user roles.

Two permissions determine access:
  1. ViewDashboard Settings – allows users to open and review dashboard settings.
  2. EditDashboardSettings – allows users to modify dashboard settings.
Default Access
The Administrator role automatically includes both permissions.

Assigning Permissions
When creating or editing a custom role, administrators can assign or remove these permissions to control which users can view or edit Dashboard settings.

Appointments

The Appointments tab in Dashboard settings allows administrators to configure which appointments appear in the Appointments section of the Dashboard by excluding selected statuses or appointment reasons.

EXCLUDE STATUSES

This setting hides appointments with selected statuses from the Dashboard. For example, excluding the "Cancelled" status helps users focus on relevant patient appointments.

  1. Multiple statuses can be selected, or none.
  2. By default, the "Cancelled" status is excluded.
EXCLUDE REASONS

This setting hides appointments with selected appointment reasons from the Dashboard. For example, internal or non-patient activities can be excluded to display only relevant patient-facing appointments.

  1. Multiple reasons can be selected, or none.
  2. By default, no reasons are excluded, so all appointments are displayed unless otherwise configured.

Upon SAVE, changes apply immediately for all users.
