Data Caching - how to clear Cache

Occasionally a browser update or an issue with the cache may cause interactive icons to become "flat" boxes, with no interaction available. In this instance, you can still use the F4 function key on a standard keyboard, or in some cases double-click eg in the Classic Scheduler in Manage, if the search icon on the Appointment Scheduler cannot be clicked

Sometimes it is a data caching issue. This article shows how to clear the cache.

In Chrome

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click the 3 dots, click Settings.

Click Security and Privacy,   Clear browsing data.

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.

Click Clear data.

In Firefox

At the top right, click the 3 dots, click Settings.

Click Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data

In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data


Remove the checkmark in front of Cookies and Site Data.

With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.
