When attempting to enter or update the Warranty Expiration Date on a migrated device within a client's equipment record, the following error appears:
"Trouble with undefined key"
As a result, the warranty date is not saved.
🔍 Cause
This issue can occur when the associated Product is set to Inactive in the Product Catalog.
The system cannot properly reference inactive products when updating certain equipment information, including warranty details.
💡 Resolution
Verify and Update Product Status
- Navigate to:
- Search for the affected product.
- Open the product record and verify its status.
- If the product is marked as Inactive, change the status to Active.
- Save the changes.
- Return to the client's equipment record and attempt to update the Warranty Expiration Date again.
✅ Expected Result
After reactivating the product, the warranty expiration date should save successfully without generating the "Trouble with undefined key" error.
